On-call shifts six days a week from 16:00 to 02:00. One paid rest day per week included. Applicants must be available to drive to the depot and collect the vehicle during on-call hours.

Join our dynamic and growing team within Sapphire Utility Solutions, a Lanes Group company specialising in wastewater network services across the North West as part of the AMP 7 period plan.
This role involves reactive emergency call-out work for United Utilities, operating either a JHL Recycler or JHL CityFlex vehicle. You will support reactive and planned maintenance across CCTV, Jetting, Civils, Traffic Management, and Capital Projects teams.
The position requires a Class 2 HGV licence and essential jetting experience, with training available for successful candidates. You will investigate and assess works needed, operate high-pressure water jetting equipment, carry out CCTV inspections, and ensure public safety during operations.
Key responsibilities include attending to customers, inspecting drainage systems, performing routine maintenance on equipment, and reporting safety issues in line with company procedures.

Experience
- HGV Class 2 (C) licence required
- Experience in high-pressure water jetting essential
- NRSWA - Sign, Lighting, Guarding (desirable)

You are reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work effectively under on-call conditions. You have good communication skills to engage with customers and colleagues, and you are competent in using electronic devices such as laptops or tablets for data entry.

Qualifications
No formal qualifications are strictly required beyond the HGV Class 2 licence and relevant experience; however, possession of the desirable certifications will be advantageous. Training will be provided to support your development in this role.
