As part of our Thames Water contract, the UK's largest water and wastewater company serving 16 million customers, you will play a vital role in maintaining critical drainage networks.

In this role, you will travel to residential sites across the region to operate high-pressure water jets for restoration, clean and maintain drainage systems, run diagnostics and repairs on drains, and deliver excellent customer service. You will be responsible for recording job reports accurately using specialist equipment and maintaining health and safety standards at all times.

You will also ensure vehicle stock is replenished, liaise with Thames Water regarding progress, and work unsupervised in all weather conditions using correct PPE and lone worker systems. Dynamic risk assessment of site access and working conditions is essential, along with supporting colleagues and conducting thorough inspections of tools and equipment.

Requirements

Experience
Customer-focused with the ability to work unsupervised in all weather conditions. Experience in drainage or utility services is advantageous but not essential as full training is provided.

Positive and constructive attitude with strong communication skills. Able to adhere to company policies and health and safety practices. Capable of dynamic risk assessment and working safely using PPE and lone worker systems. Willingness to support colleagues and deliver excellent customer service. Comfortable using digital platforms such as VISTEC and Salesforce. Mature approach to risk perception and compliance with company values.

Qualifications
No specific qualifications are required for this role; however, a commitment to learning, safety, and professional development is essential. A full driving licence may be beneficial but is not explicitly stated as mandatory.
