About the Role
We’re looking for a hands-on Operations Supervisor to oversee depot operations and support our workforce in delivering a safe, efficient, and compliant service. You will oversee daily, weekly, and monthly tasks to meet KPIs and contract requirements. Monitoring safe working practices through vehicle CCTV, tracking systems, and on-route crew observations will be key. You will ensure compliance with the Company’s Operator’s Licence, drivers’ hours regulations, and the Working Time Directive. Leading inductions, safety training, and site checks will be part of your responsibilities. Additionally, you will assist Supervisors in driving vehicle and crew efficiencies while monitoring team performance and competency. Supporting management in operational productivity, resource planning, and budget alignment is essential to this role.

Experience
Knowledge of Safe Systems of Work, operational procedures, and Health & Safety requirements is essential. Experience in monitoring compliance with drivers’ hours and operational regulations is required.

About you
You communicate clearly and respectfully at all levels, both verbally and in writing. You build trust and positive relationships, contribute actively to team meetings, and confidently lead crew briefings and toolbox talks. A good understanding of the drivers Working Time Directive is necessary.
