About the Role
This permanent role within the Surrey Fire and Rescue Community Safety Partnership Team focuses on supporting the delivery of domestic fire safety and prevention activity across Surrey. You will organise and allocate Safe and Well Visits received from partner agencies to Partnership Officers, Partnership Leads, and operational crews. Acting as a first point of contact for the public and partner agencies, you will respond to telephone and written enquiries professionally and promptly. You will support the use of internal systems to record and manage Safe and Well Visits, monitor activity, and produce reports for colleagues and senior leaders within Surrey Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS). Additionally, you will assist the wider Partnership Team and operational crews with various administrative queries and tasks, working closely with Adult Social Care and other partners to ensure vulnerable individuals receive appropriate fire safety support.

Prevention is central to Surrey Fire and Rescue Service, and this role offers the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on community safety. Through strong organisation, communication, and partnership working, you will help ensure vulnerable residents receive the right advice and support, enabling effective interventions that help people stay safe in their homes.

Over the next 12 to 18 months, you will support the continued delivery and development of Safe and Well Visits across Surrey by managing referrals efficiently, ensuring accurate and timely information sharing with operational teams and partner agencies, and contributing to improving administrative processes, reporting, and the effective use of internal systems to support prevention activity across the Service.
