About the Role
As a Process Operator, you will support the day-to-day operation of the Residual Waste Treatment Facility (RWTF) and ensure the facility is kept clean and tidy at all times. You will manage health and safety in your immediate area and take responsibility for housekeeping by cleaning the surrounding area, completing daily logs, and reporting any defects to your Shift Team Leader. Your key responsibilities include assisting in the safe and efficient operation of the RWTF by performing routine checks, monitoring equipment, and cleaning; taking samples and completing basic quality checks; completing training on Forklift Truck / Materials Handling Equipment if required; supporting the Shift Team Leader in their duties; working in accordance with SHEQ policies including reporting safety concerns and incidents; maintaining a close working relationship with the Operations Management Team; identifying or supporting continuous improvement projects; ensuring the highest level of housekeeping is maintained; and performing daily cleaning of machinery within the facility along with light maintenance of equipment.

Experience
Good understanding of health, safety, and environmental compliance.

Strong people skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels within the company and externally. Flexibility to work across all residual waste plant areas and other site locations as required. A proactive approach to work and good organisational skills.

Qualifications
Training on Forklift Truck / Materials Handling Equipment will be provided if required. No specific qualifications are stated, but a commitment to health and safety and operational excellence is essential.
