Reporting to the team's Technical Director and under the guidance of the Principal/Senior Staff, you will play a key role within the team, providing project support for onsite monitoring as well as office-based tasks including 3D modelling, data analysis, and reporting. You will support the Environmental and Building Acoustics sections in delivering projects across the UK, including large infrastructure schemes such as HS2 and the Lower Thames Crossing, alongside specialist building design projects.

Your responsibilities will include undertaking building and environmental acoustic assessments for EIA, RIBA, and GRIP stage projects; conducting acoustic site monitoring surveys across the UK (and Europe where appropriate); analysing and interpreting data to support technical reports and design advice; and 3D modelling using proprietary acoustic software packages such as SoundPLAN, ODEON, INSUL, IMMI, and NoiseMAP 5.0. Knowledge of any mainstream noise mapping software is essential.

You will also ensure compliance with relevant environmental and building acoustics specifications, standards, and guidance within the UK, promote health and safety awareness within the team, and perform other duties as required by your manager or Arcadis.
