Day Shifts: 07:00 – 19:00 | Night Shifts: 19:00 – 07:00
Shift Allowance: 10% additional payment for night shifts worked between 19:00 and 07:00
Plus paid 26 cover shifts per year

About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Shift Maintenance Fitter to join our team at Poplars AD Plant. Reporting to the Shift Supervisor, you will play a key role in ensuring the anaerobic digestion facility operates safely, efficiently, and reliably through proactive maintenance and rapid fault response.
Your core responsibilities include delivering planned and reactive maintenance across the plant, diagnosing faults quickly and carrying out effective repairs, supporting installation work and equipment improvements, driving plant reliability and uptime, working closely with operations teams to minimise downtime, coordinating specialist maintenance activities with contractors, maintaining high standards of health, safety and environmental compliance, and supporting preventative maintenance programmes and root cause analysis.

Experience
Minimum 2 years' experience in a Mechanical or Electrical Fitter role.
Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
Experience working in a fast-paced process, manufacturing, waste, water or industrial environment.
Understanding of planned preventative maintenance principles.
Ability to prioritise and respond effectively to breakdowns.

Qualifications
Relevant Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualification preferred.
