About the Role
As a Site Operative, you’ll play a vital role in ensuring our recycling centre runs safely and efficiently. From assisting visitors to maintaining the site, your work will help create a cleaner, greener community. Your core responsibilities include supporting day-to-day operations to ensure everything runs smoothly, assisting visitors in sorting and recycling waste effectively, keeping the site clean, safe, and organized, preventing commercial and non-compliant waste from entering the site, and promoting recycling by maximizing waste segregation wherever possible. You will be part of a team making a tangible impact on the environment and the local community, gaining hands-on experience working in a dynamic, outdoor environment, and enjoying the satisfaction of knowing your efforts help reduce waste and increase recycling.

Experience
Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, helpful attitude. Ability to work well both independently and as part of a team.
