We are currently seeking a hardworking and reliable Sports Turf Groundsman. This is a hands-on, outdoor role requiring applicants to be physically fit and capable of performing a wide range of duties in all weather conditions. If you have a passion for outdoor work and attention to detail, we want to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities

• Grass cutting using ride-on, cylinder, rotary and triple mowers
• Deep spiking, slitting, fertilising and turf grooming
• Herbicide application (in line with COSHH regulations)
• Line marking and sports pitch preparation
• Cricket pitch maintenance and seasonal works
• Hedge cutting, shrub care, leaf collection and general grounds duties
• Setting up goals and sports equipment
• Daily vehicle and machinery checks
• Ensuring all work is carried out safely and to high standards

Requirements

• Previous sports turf or grounds maintenance experience preferred
• PA1/PA6 qualifications beneficial (full training can be provided)
• Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
• Physically fit and able to undertake manual work
• Good communication and teamwork skills
• Full UK driving licence
