About the Role
Help us make a difference as a Stores Coordinator at our facility in Ipswich. You will organise and maintain the stores, inventory/stock levels, and stores systems. Your responsibilities include carrying out regular stock checks to ensure stock availability, sourcing replacement parts, and organising refurbishment of refurbishable parts. You will maintain the stores facilities and quarantine areas to ensure smooth operations.

Key duties include complying fully with all safety instructions, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe working environment; supporting the engineering manager in developing the stores and inventory; carrying out weekly stock checks and audits to ensure accuracy in the CMMS; identifying potential improvements in stores or systems; using the CMMS according to company procedures to prevent stock outs; communicating with suppliers to ensure quality products at the best prices and reporting issues to management; issuing stores inventory to engineering and contractor staff as required; managing deliveries and collection of parts for refurbishment including non-conforming products; and maintaining the workplace, tools, and engineering facilities to prevent hazards and promote effective engineering practices.

Experience
Stores experience is essential. Experience in an engineering operational environment is required. Knowledge of engineering systems and stores systems, including CMMS, is important. Numeracy skills and the ability to understand numerical data are necessary.
