About the Role
At WSP, you have the opportunity to shape a career as unique as you. Join our established water team as a Wastewater Network Modeller (Assistant to Principal) delivering projects for some of the UK’s largest regulated water companies. You will work alongside diverse WSP business units, gaining exposure to a variety of exciting projects while supporting our core client base.

You will develop and apply your technical skills through hydraulic modelling studies using industry-standard software such as InfoWorks ICM/CS, TUFLOW, Causeway Flow, and our in-house FRM tools. Your responsibilities will include interrogating and enhancing existing models, building new models to assess asset performance, and providing technical input on urban drainage projects.

Additional duties include supporting feasibility studies and optioneering, using network models to evaluate and optimise asset performance, preparing reports and supporting drawings, defining work for field investigation teams, and maintaining excellent client relationships. You will also contribute to team learning through knowledge sharing and promote the WSP brand at industry forums and conferences.

You will be part of an award-winning water team of over 600 professionals across the UK, supported by our Global Water Team, working with clients such as Severn Trent Water, Northern Ireland Water, Welsh Water, Southern Water, Wessex Water, United Utilities, Uisce Éireann, and Scottish Water Horizons.
