Base location: Mogden, Isleworth, TW7 7LW
Hours
38 hours per week, 7:30am to 3:30pm, Monday to Friday. You’ll be part of a standby rota covering 2 weekends in every 7 weeks, which may also include evenings.

£29,349 per annum
About the Role
Make a real difference where it matters most. Join Thames Water on the front line of environmental protection, collecting vital wastewater samples from treatment works and industrial sites. In this role, you’ll play a key part in keeping our water systems safe, compliant, and running smoothly, while enjoying the independence of working out in the field and building valuable technical skills in a vital industry. You’ll be on the move, travelling between a variety of sites and working as part of a lively team across a wide area. Driving will be a key part of the role, so confidence on the road is important. Your main responsibility will be collecting and testing wastewater samples from sewage treatment works, trade effluent sites, and rivers. You’ll also manage your own sampling records and maintain equipment, making sure everything meets industry standards.

Experience
Driving experience with confidence operating a medium-sized vehicle, including in busy, high-traffic areas, is essential. Some knowledge of the water industry is helpful but not required.
About you
You will have a strong eye for detail, able to follow procedures accurately and manage your time effectively. You should be well organised, able to plan your own routes, and comfortable working independently to structure your day. Good computer skills and attention to detail are important for this technical role.
Qualifications
A full, clean manual driving licence is essential. No other formal qualifications are required, making this a great opportunity to learn and build your experience in a vital industry.
