Our Environmental Services teams provide consultancy across multiple disciplines including Air Quality, Landscape Architecture, and Cultural Heritage, delivering practical strategies to study, protect, enhance, and restore the natural environment.

As a Graduate, you will work in a collaborative environment on diverse projects for a broad range of clients and sectors. You will gain hands-on experience and develop technical skills while contributing to impactful projects such as air quality monitoring and modelling, landscape design for public realm and infrastructure projects, and heritage assessments for large-scale developments.

Our Graduate Development Programme is a two-year structured scheme designed to support your personal and professional growth through blended learning, mentoring, career workshops, and on-the-job experience. You will be encouraged and supported to achieve chartered status with relevant professional bodies.

Teams and Projects:
- Air Quality: Gain expertise in air dispersion modelling, monitoring, environmental impact assessments, regulatory permitting, and health risk communication. Work on projects including Sizewell Power Station surveys and GLA Air Quality Filters.
- Landscape Architecture: Support landscape design and assessment across sectors, contributing to active travel plans, HS2 Rail, renewable energy projects, and urban public realm schemes. Use software such as AutoCAD and Adobe Creative Suite.
- Cultural Heritage: Join the UK's largest heritage consultancy, working on archaeology, built heritage, and historic environment projects across the UK and overseas. Activities include historic map analysis, site visits, GIS mapping, and heritage reporting.

Requirements

Experience
No prior professional experience is required. We seek graduates with a flexible approach and an appetite to learn within a leading engineering and professional advisory consultancy.

About you
- Graduated with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
- Enthusiastic about creativity, numerical analysis, and problem solving.
- Passionate about data analysis and interpretation using tools such as Excel and GIS.
- Able and willing to travel to sites or client offices not accessible by public transport.
- Motivated to share new ideas and contribute in a collaborative environment.
- Committed to professional development and achieving chartered status.
- Inclusive and respectful, embracing diversity and belonging.

Qualifications
A relevant degree in a subject aligned to the role applied for is essential. No additional qualifications are required at application stage, but ongoing professional development and chartership support will be provided.
