We are currently recruiting a Carpentry & Joinery Apprentice to join a large new-build construction site in Hammersmith & Fulham. This opportunity is open only to residents of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham as part of a local Section 106 employment scheme.

What You’ll Do:

• Work under the supervision of skilled tradespeople on a live construction site

• Assist with installation of timber structures, fixtures, and fittings as part of a new build development

• Learn how to read technical drawings and accurately measure, cut, and fix materials

• Follow daily site tasks, safety guidance, and construction timelines

• Work outdoors in varied conditions, sometimes at height

• Complete the work-based learning required for your Level 2 Carpentry & Joinery qualification

• Maintain good attendance, punctuality, and professionalism throughout

• Use provided tools and PPE (issued free of charge)

What We’re Looking For:

• Aged 18 or over (no upper age limit)

• Resident of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham (essential)

• Strong work ethic and commitment to completing an apprenticeship

• Good communication and ability to work with a diverse team

• Good attention to detail and practical thinking

• Manual/on-site experience preferred (Skills Centre experience accepted)

• CSCS card required

• Working towards or completed a Level 2 Diploma in Carpentry & Joinery

• GCSEs or equivalent in English and Maths preferred

• Reference from a college tutor or previous supervisor

Pay:
£12.25 per hour
£490 per week

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday, 08:00 – 17:00 (40 hours per week)
