We are currently recruiting for an Apprentice Landscaper to join a regeneration site in South Thamesmead. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone eager to gain practical experience in landscaping, softworks, and garden design as part of a supportive team.

Please note: Due to Section 106 local employment requirements, only applicants living in the following postcodes will be considered:
DA1, DA14, DA15, DA16, DA17, DA18, DA5, DA6, DA7, DA8, SE2, SE9, SE28.

What You’ll Do:
• Learn and support with planting, turfing, paving, and basic soft landscaping
• Assist with soil preparation, bed layout, mulching, and plant care
• Use landscaping tools and equipment under supervision
• Maintain a clean and safe working environment
• Work alongside experienced landscape professionals on an active construction site
• Participate in all weather conditions and follow site safety procedures
• Complete college coursework in line with your apprenticeship training plan

What We’re Looking For:
• Aged 16–19 preferred (apprenticeship rate applies)
• GCSEs in English and Maths (grade 4 or above), or Functional Skills Level 1
• A valid CSCS card is desirable (or willingness to obtain one)
• Good teamwork and communication skills
• Physically fit and comfortable working outdoors
• A keen interest in landscaping, garden design, or sustainable environments
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team

Pay:
£7.55 per hour (first-year apprenticeship rate)

Hours:
38 hours per week, Monday to Friday
Standard working hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
