About the role
Support the day-to-day supervision of EV chargepoint installation works on site, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to specification. Develop your site supervision skills through the Level 4 Construction Site Supervisor apprenticeship programme.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in supervising installation teams (contractors, subcontractors, operatives)
- Monitor site progress, materials, and resources
- Support health, safety, and quality compliance
- Assist with RAMS, toolbox talks, and safety briefings
- Record site activities, progress reports, and quality checks
- Liaise with project managers, engineers, clients, and suppliers
- Support commissioning and testing of installed EV chargepoints
- Attend training and mentoring sessions
Requirements
Essential Requirements:
- GCSEs (or equivalent) in Maths and English (Grade C/4+)
- Interest in construction, infrastructure, and sustainable energy
- Basic understanding of construction processes and site safety
- Good organisational and planning skills
- Confident verbal and written communication
- Willingness to learn and work safely outdoors
- Ability to travel to sites
Desirable:
- NVQ/Level 2 in Electrical or Construction trade
- Knowledge of EV charging systems
- Valid driving licence
