About the Role
At WSP, you have the opportunity to work on projects the world needs, contributing to landmark developments and collaborating with leading experts. As an Associate/Associate Director Sustainability Consultant, you will support the delivery of sustainable building solutions on high-profile projects and major frameworks within a growing national team based in London. You will be part of the Building Performance team, which provides energy, carbon, and holistic sustainability advice across the Built Environment, coordinating multi-disciplinary projects and delivering sustainability and energy master planning for urban and semi-rural developments. Your role will be client-facing, helping clients define and achieve their net zero operational energy, embodied carbon, and wider sustainability targets.

You will lead sustainability delivery on a diverse portfolio of projects, acting as the sustainability lead and independently managing your own projects. Responsibilities include developing sustainability approaches for significant portfolios and frameworks, increasing WSP's industry profile, supporting business development activities, leveraging client relationships, coordinating sustainability delivery across design teams, identifying cross-selling opportunities, supporting team growth through recruitment and development, preparing high-quality reports, and applying current and proposed UK sustainability legislation to project solutions.

WSP offers a culture that embraces curiosity, innovation, and diverse perspectives, with a hybrid working policy allowing flexibility to work from home two days a week alongside collaboration in modern offices. The company is committed to inclusivity, wellbeing, and professional development, providing tools and programs to support your health, work-life balance, and career growth.
