We are looking for a skilled Carpenter to join a busy site in South Thamesmead. This is a great opportunity for an experienced tradesperson to carry out a range of high-quality carpentry and joinery tasks on a large residential development.

Key Responsibilities

● Take accurate measurements and prepare sites for woodwork.

● Prepare drawings and plans for cabinetry, framing, and other carpentry work.

● Design, build and install fitted shelves, cabinets, drywall, and other timber features.

● Fit fixtures and fittings including handles, locks, hinges, and trims.

● Cut, shape and assemble timber structures such as frames, stairs, and walls.

● Work safely with hand and power tools, following health and safety requirements.

● Maintain a tidy work area and collaborate well with other trades and team members.

Qualifications:

• Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Carpentry and Joinery
• OR Level 2 or Level 3 Diploma in Site Carpentry
• OR T Level in On-Site Construction

CSCS Card:

• Level 2 NVQ requires a Blue CSCS card
• Level 3 NVQ requires a Gold CSCS card
• Level 4 NVQ requires a Black CSCS card

Proven carpentry experience, ideally with site-based joinery work.

Good knowledge of health and safety.
