We are currently recruiting for a Carpentry Trainee to join a residential construction project in Richmond. This opportunity is ideal for someone looking to gain their NVQ Level 2 in Carpentry and develop core trade skills while working on-site in a supportive team environment.

You must live in one of the following boroughs to be eligible due to Section 106 requirements: Richmond, Kingston upon Thames, or Hounslow. Applicants who do not meet this requirement cannot be considered.

What You’ll Do:

• Assist with basic carpentry activities such as shaping timber, cutting materials, and using power tools
• Learn to install doors, linings, staircases, and other wooden structures
• Load and store materials safely and responsibly
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work area
• Work in all weather conditions as part of an active site team
• Follow site Health & Safety protocols including RAMS
• Attend training as required to support completion of your NVQ Level 2 qualification
• Take pride in completed work and follow quality control expectations

What We’re Looking For:

• Minimum Level 2 Diploma in Construction (or working toward)
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Previous site experience (preferred)
• Good communication skills and ability to follow instructions
• Punctual, reliable, and committed to learning
• Strong attention to detail and a willingness to work hard
• Team player with a professional attitude
