Our mission is to connect ambitious individuals with roles that support a low-carbon future. We work with training providers and contractors across London to create entry-level opportunities in green construction. We’re recruiting for a Carpentry & Joinery Apprentice on a large new build project in Southwark. This role combines practical site-based learning with full support to complete your Level 2 Carpentry and Joinery Apprenticeship. You will learn and develop carpentry and joinery skills on a live construction site, work alongside experienced tradespeople and site supervisors, assist with tasks related to structural framing, fixings, door and window fitting, and finishing works, maintain high standards of attendance and punctuality, and follow instructions to contribute to team goals on site.

Experience
Aged 18 or over (no upper age limit), currently working towards or previously completed a Level 2 Construction Diploma, with relevant experience in Carpentry and Joinery, GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, CSCS Card holder, good references from a tutor or previous employer.

About you
Must be a resident of the London Borough of Southwark, possess a strong work ethic and willingness to work in all weather conditions, be physically fit and punctual, detail-oriented with good dexterity, have a positive attitude and be a team player, and possess good communication skills.

No specific qualifications required beyond the aforementioned experience and personal qualities.
