As a key member of the Rail Eastern design team, you will apply and develop your engineering skills to produce excellent designs for our Rail clients. Role Accountabilities
As a Civil Engineer, you will deliver design on a variety of structural and civil engineering multi-disciplinary projects primarily within the Rail environment, as well as in the buildings sector. You will gain experience working on a diverse portfolio of projects, enhancing your skills and technical knowledge. Key responsibilities include collaborating with team members to meet project requirements, developing an understanding of business benefits from global design, completing allocated activities within budget and timeframe, applying methodical design and technical writing skills, delivering work that meets client and Arcadis standards, and preparing accurate drawings, specifications, reports, and documentation compliant with national standards and codes of practice. You will investigate and analyse to support technical solutions and contribute to resolving technical issues on projects.
Experience
- Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
- Minimum 5 years relevant experience, preferably in structural design and civil engineering within a rail environment
- Experience working closely with design and project teams at all levels
- Proficient in Autodesk or Bentley CAD software
- Ability to build and maintain effective working relationships with internal engineering teams
- Working towards Incorporated or Chartered Status of a relevant institution

Qualifications
