Join an exciting regeneration project delivering new homes, office, retail, and community spaces in the heart of Brixton. As a Community Connector Officer Apprentice, you’ll support the Social Value and Community Manager in delivering meaningful employment, training, social value, equality, diversity & inclusion, and community engagement outcomes for local people - especially those from priority groups in Lambeth.

What You’ll Be Doing:

● Act as a link between local residents, the project team, and key partners and agencies.

● Help organise and deliver community activities - site visits, job fairs, skills sessions, and local donation drives.

● Produce updates and information for residents - newsletters, website posts, or other agreed methods.

● Support and help coordinate volunteering opportunities, training, and local events.

● Carry out admin tasks: keep stakeholder lists up to date, prepare presentations and materials for meetings and events.

● Communicate clearly and adapt how you speak or write depending on your audience.

● A people person - able to connect well with people from all backgrounds, listen actively, and understand what matters to them.

● Strong organiser who can manage your workload, set priorities, and meet deadlines.

● Confident with basic IT (Word, Excel) and comfortable tracking and reporting information.

● Good written and verbal communication - able to write simple updates or short reports.

● Interested in community projects and building positive relationships.

● Flexible to occasionally work evenings and weekends.

● Must be able to pass an enhanced DBS check.
