We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Computational Designer to join our data-driven Computational Design team. This role focuses on developing and applying advanced computational workflows in architecture, urban design, planning, and engineering projects. You will work on a broad range of local and international projects for both public and private sector clients.

Role Accountabilities:
- Build computational models for various projects
- Build, maintain and improve computational workflows and products across the firm
- Work interoperably between multiple platforms and formats including 3D modeling software, GIS, BIM, and software development environments
- Work with diverse project-related data sources including environmental, economic, planning, and demographic data
- Collaborate with internal and external clients to understand their needs and develop strategies
- Stay abreast of new and emerging technologies, best practices, and software applications
- Build technical expertise across the firm and provide continuing education
- Communicate technical ideas in a verbally and graphically accessible manner
- Create presentation and report materials to support projects
- Build quality relationships with team members and across the organization
Experience
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in a professional Urban Design, Planning, Landscape Architectural, or Architectural firm preferred
- Strong skills in Rhino and Grasshopper with demonstrated experience building and deploying complex parametric models
- Knowledge of programming languages, with Python highly preferred, and experience using these to extend Grasshopper capabilities
- Project portfolio showcasing parametric modeling

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture, Landscape Architecture, Urban Design, Computational Design, Interactive Media Design, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Hardware Engineering, or related fields
- Master’s Degree preferred

All applications must submit a portfolio showcasing their computational design experience (maximum 10 pages). Selected candidates will be asked to present a past computational design project for technical review.
