If you have strong leadership skills, a sharp commercial mindset, and a solid understanding of construction delivery, this is your chance to make a tangible impact in a fast-paced and rewarding role.
You’ll act as the main point of contact for clients, consultants, and contractors—ensuring each project is completed safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Managing the full lifecycle of construction projects—from planning through to completion and close-out.
- Developing project programmes, procurement schedules, and resource plans.
- Coordinating with design teams, engineers, and contractors to ensure seamless project execution.
- Leading meetings and progress reviews with clients and stakeholders.
- Monitoring project progress and proactively managing risks, delays, and change.
- Managing budgets and collaborating closely with commercial teams on cost control.
- Ensuring full compliance with building regulations, health & safety legislation, and quality standards.
- Preparing and presenting progress reports to stakeholders.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, quality, and continuous improvement.
- Handling project documentation including RFIs, change orders, and final close-out packs.
What We’re Looking For:
- Proven experience as a Project Manager in the construction sector—ideally across commercial, residential, or infrastructure projects.
- Strong understanding of construction processes, sequencing, and contract administration (e.g., JCT, NEC).
- Confident in managing client relationships and engaging with a broad range of stakeholders.
- Calm under pressure, with the ability to juggle competing project demands.
- Skilled in project management tools such as MS Project, Asta Powerproject, Primavera, or similar.
- Effective team leadership and coordination skills.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field – or equivalent practical experience is ideal.
- Professional certifications such as PRINCE2, PMP, or CIOB are advantageous.
- SMSTS and a valid CSCS card are required.
- First Aid at Work certification.
