We are recruiting on behalf of our client for a Customer Liaison Officer to join a growing and mission-driven team. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in delivering essential works that positively impact communities, all while enjoying excellent benefits and career support.
As a Customer Liaison Officer, you’ll be the vital link between the delivery team and residents. You will lead community engagement efforts, ensure residents are fully informed about ongoing works, and handle all customer enquiries with professionalism and care.
This role is based in Grimsby and will require regular travel to Boston, so a full UK driving licence is essential.
Key Responsibilities
Lead resident and community engagement activities to build strong, trust-based relationships.
Communicate clearly and effectively with customers and residents about the nature, timing, and scope of works.
Act as the primary point of contact for residents, addressing concerns and queries in a professional and empathetic manner.
Coordinate property access to ensure work is completed efficiently and on schedule.
Resolve access issues and resident concerns promptly, escalating where necessary.
Maintain accurate records of all communication and issue resolutions for project reporting.
What You Will Need
Essential:
Previous experience in a customer-facing role.
Ability to handle sensitive situations with empathy and professionalism.
Strong resilience and negotiation skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools.
Full UK Driving Licence (travel to Boston is required).
Desirable:
Experience working within the social housing sector.
