About the Role
When you see the world as we do, you see the chance to help the world take better care of its resources and help it become a better place for everyone. As a Digital Transformation Officer, you will work across Customer Sites using advanced data and technology to reduce the administrative burden on operational teams by automating back-office systems. You will collaborate with on-site operations teams to improve data quality and usage to meet operational and client requirements.

Your role will involve rethinking back-office processes to eliminate unnecessary paper workflows and administrative tasks, supporting project rollouts, and ensuring data and reporting are effectively used to enhance service efficiency and performance. You will create monthly reports using Power BI, take ownership of operational data maintenance, and use the latest technology to optimise efficiency and drive improvements.

Additionally, you will support the implementation of the digital training strategy by delivering operational end-user training via our new training platform and contribute to product roadmaps with support from the central operational systems team.

Veolia offers a supportive environment with access to a company pension scheme, discounts on groceries and retailers, resources for physical, mental, and financial health, 24-hour virtual GP access for you and your household, one paid volunteer day per year, and ongoing training and development opportunities to help you reach your full potential.

Requirements

Experience
Practical experience with Power BI, Excel, SQL, and Google Workspace is essential. Experience with GIS is advantageous. Strong relationship-building and communication skills are required.

About you
You have a positive, proactive, and forward-thinking attitude with a pragmatic approach to user and environmental needs. You are committed to driving genuine change and ecological transformation. Even if you do not meet all the outlined requirements, if you believe you are a great fit for this role and Veolia, we encourage you to apply.

Qualifications
A degree in a relevant field such as mathematics, science, business, information systems, or environmental services is preferred but not mandatory.
