About the Role
Net Zero Careers Accelerator (NZCA) is dedicated to advancing careers that make a meaningful impact on environmental sustainability and the green economy. Our mission is to connect ambitious individuals with roles that support a low-carbon future. We work on environmentally conscious construction projects that contribute to a greener tomorrow. The successful candidate will gain hands-on experience supporting qualified tradespeople and learning the skills required to become a competent dryliner. You will be working outdoors in all weather conditions and may be required to work at height. This role includes:

• Learning and applying drylining techniques on site
• Supporting with various aspects of new build construction
• Receiving free PPE and tools
• Working closely with a supervisor and the site management team
• Completing the work-based element of the apprenticeship qualification

Experience
Must be aged 18 or over, must reside in the Borough of Barnet, a good reference from a college tutor, working towards or having completed a Level 1 Diploma in a construction-related field, or relevant drylining experience.

About you
Strong work ethic and punctuality, good communication skills and ability to work with people from a variety of backgrounds, good literacy and numeracy, attention to detail, manual dexterity and willingness to carry out physical work.

Qualifications
GCSEs or equivalent in Maths and English, CSCS card holder.

Future Prospects
Gain a Level 2 qualification in Drylining, potential to progress into employment as an improver or junior tradesperson if you demonstrate the required skills and attitude.
