As an EHS Senior Consultant / Principal Consultant within our EHS Advisory team, you will deliver expert Occupational/Workplace Health & Safety and Environmental support across a diverse range of projects, from large multi-disciplinary Arcadis projects to smaller local clients. You will take a line management role, supporting the professional growth of junior team members.

You will collaborate with Associate Technical Directors to develop professional proposals, engage with clients, and tailor solutions to their needs. This includes drafting proposals and contributing to the commercial development of services. The role typically involves an 80:20 split between technical delivery and new business development.

Technical delivery responsibilities include supporting clients with competent EHS advice, developing digital solutions such as SharePoint design, Microsoft Forms, Power Apps, and Power BI dashboarding. You may also provide EHS assistance through secondments or support functions across various organisations and projects.

The role offers broad opportunities including occupational workplace H&S and environmental due diligence, gap analysis, and close collaboration with transactional services. You will be encouraged to challenge yourself, learn new skills, and apply your expertise to make a meaningful impact across our Sustainability business.

Flexible working arrangements support a hybrid office/home model, with occasional client site visits and international travel. Opportunities for secondments within client businesses may also arise.

Experience
- Proven experience as an EHS Consultant, Advisor, Manager, or within a SHEQ function.
- Strong knowledge of UK & Ireland EHS legislation and compliance requirements.
- Demonstrated delivery of Health & Safety Management Systems (ISO 45001/HSG65) and Environmental Management Systems (ISO 14001).
- Experience in internal audits, inspections, accident investigations, environmental and waste audits.
- Competence in health and wellbeing management including stress, anxiety, and depression.
- Knowledge of asbestos management, construction and refurbishment projects, and environmental permitting.
- Experience in EHS training development and delivery.
- Clean UK driving licence.

- Ideally qualified as an ISO 45001 Lead Auditor and/or ISO 14001 Lead Auditor.
