About the Role
As a Field Enabler within Water Networks, you will play a key role in ensuring all repair jobs requiring a highway authority permit are appropriately surveyed. You will recommend the street work site set-up to enable correct planning of repairs, ensuring the safety of workers and the public from initial site set-up through to repair, backfill, and reinstatement.
You will take ownership of coordinating all planned and reactive jobs, ensuring compliance with Highways Street Work legislation, Health & Safety regulations including CDM obligations, and service level agreements. Acting as the primary liaison between Thames Water and key external stakeholders such as councils, Highway Authorities, and other utilities, you will agree and enable site access and any necessary considerations to facilitate repairs.
Working collaboratively with Repair and Maintenance Supervisors, you will help reduce aborted work and remove blockers to ensure jobs are completed right first time. You will also provide feedback and coaching to internal stakeholders to identify improvement areas and contribute to implementing change.
A van, PPE, and tools will be provided to support you in your role.
