About the Role
We are looking for a motivated Field Maintenance Technician to join our team, supporting the maintenance and reliability of EV charging infrastructure across London. You’ll carry out commissioning, preventative and reactive maintenance, troubleshooting, and safety checks while working to high standards of safety and quality.
Key Responsibilities
- Commission, maintain, and troubleshoot EV charging equipment
- Perform preventive and curative maintenance in line with company procedures
- Diagnose and resolve electrical and communication faults
- Complete safety checks and inspections
- Record and debrief work using company tools and systems
- Take part in an on-call rota to support 24/7 network coverage
About You
- 1–2 years’ experience as a maintenance/electrical technician
- Safe Isolation certified (or strong electrical background)
- Full, clean driving licence
- Ability to diagnose and solve faults logically
- Comfortable working outdoors in all weather
- Good IT skills (Windows, MS Office; networking knowledge an advantage)
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and eager to learn new tools and systems
Salary: £28,000 – £30,000 + company car, call-out allowance, lunch allowance, overtime
Hours: 44 hrs/week, shift rota (4 on / 4 off), 7am – 7pm, Mon–Sun
