We are currently recruiting a Fitter’s Mate to support site-based works on a key project in the Southwark area. This is a full-time opportunity offering valuable experience in ductwork and mechanical installation. Ideal for someone looking to get into site-based construction or mechanical systems, with opportunities for further training and progression.

MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK

Key Responsibilities:
• Support ductwork fitters with installation of ventilation systems
• Move materials and maintain a clean, safe and organised work area
• Assist with basic fabrication and handling tasks as directed
• Follow all site health and safety policies and procedures

What We’re Looking For:

MUST BE A RESIDENT OF THE BOROUGH OF SOUTHWARK
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• A proactive, can-do attitude
• Comfortable with physical work in a site environment
• Punctual, reliable and team-oriented
• Willingness to learn and follow instruction

What’s on Offer:
• £16.35 per hour (paid two-weekly via agency with completed timesheet)
• Full-time: Monday to Friday, 8am – 5pm (1 hour unpaid lunch)
• Some weekend work may be required
• Further training and progression available for the right candidate
• Immediate start available
