Join the team at the iconic RSPB Arne Nature Reserve, a breathtaking location on Poole Harbour within the Dorset Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Arne is a unique habitat supporting all six of the UK’s native reptiles, rare birds such as Dartford Warblers, Woodlarks, and Nightjars, as well as diverse wildlife including Smooth Snakes, Silver-studded Blue Butterflies, Ladybird Spiders, and rare plants like Yellow Centaury.
As an Embedded Fundraiser, you will engage with visitors and the public to inspire support for conservation efforts. This role offers the chance to work outdoors in stunning surroundings, sharing compelling stories about the reserve’s wildlife and habitats to encourage people to take action. You will receive full training and ongoing support to develop your fundraising skills and help make a meaningful impact in protecting nature.
Join a passionate team dedicated to managing and preserving Arne’s lowland heath and other habitats, ensuring a thriving environment for wildlife and future generations.
Experience
No prior fundraising experience required as full training will be provided. Experience in roles involving face-to-face communication such as hospitality, customer service, sales, sustainability, conservation, campaigning, fundraising, business development, retail, or volunteering is advantageous.
