Location
Dartford, Kent and surrounding towns (within 10 miles of Dartford). Travel to local venues daily using a company van (fuel and parking covered).

Hours
Flexible working pattern with options to work 3, 4 or 5 day weeks. Availability to work 3 out of 4 weekends per month is required.

Salary
£25,847 per annum (pro rata, fixed-term for 7 months)

About the Role
Make a difference this summer by joining the RSPB Fundraising Team in Dartford. This role is all about engaging with the public, inspiring support for nature, and turning passion into action. You will travel to local events, set up eye-catching fundraising stands, and chat with visitors about the RSPB’s mission. This is an outdoor role requiring confidence, resilience, and excellent communication skills. Full training is provided, and no prior wildlife knowledge is necessary. The role offers a supportive and inclusive team culture, a company van for business use, and the potential to return each summer. The active fundraising season runs from April to September, with induction and training provided at RSPB HQ in Sandy, Bedfordshire (travel and accommodation covered). This fixed-term role starts February/March 2026 and runs until early September 2026.

Experience
Fundraising, sales or customer service experience is desirable but not essential.

About you
Passionate about people and conservation. Confident engaging with members of the public. Resilient and positive when faced with challenges. Comfortable working outdoors and independently. Willingness to travel up to one hour each way from home daily.

Qualifications
A full UK driving licence is essential. Applicants must have the right to work in the UK. This role is not eligible for UK Visa Sponsorship.
