We are currently recruiting a General Cleaner to join an active construction site in Southwark. This is a great opportunity for someone reliable and health-and-safety aware, looking to gain or continue experience on a major regeneration site. This role runs until the end of February 2026, with the potential for extension.

Please note: You must live in the Southwark borough to be eligible for this opportunity due to Section 106 local employment requirements. We are unable to consider applicants from other boroughs.

What You’ll Do
• Carry out general cleaning duties across welfare and site areas
• Maintain a safe and tidy environment in walkways, canteens, and toilets
• Assist with basic waste disposal, sweeping, and surface cleaning
• Follow site safety rules and wear correct PPE at all times
• Communicate with the site team to prioritise cleaning tasks
• Work independently and ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained

What We’re Looking For
• Must live in the Southwark borough (essential)
• Valid CSCS card (essential)
• Prior experience in cleaning, site services, or labouring (preferred)
• Good understanding of health and safety expectations on live construction sites
• Reliable and able to manage your time and workload
• Able to work well with others and take direction when needed

Pay:
£26,000 per annum (PAYE)

Hours:
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday

Contract Type:
Fixed-term until February 2026, with possible extension
