About the Role
The Air Quality team at Cundall aims to create better environments by improving occupant exposure and ensuring positive effects on both external and internal environments. The team covers all aspects of air quality throughout the entire project lifecycle, from pre-planning and detailed design to post-planning stages. Our integrated services include assessing current and future ambient (outdoor) air quality impacts, specifying and evaluating mitigation controls, and managing indoor air quality to meet health and wellbeing standards.

As a Graduate Air Quality Consultant based in Birmingham, you will join a specialist team working on exciting construction projects in the UK and internationally. Under expert guidance, you will develop skills in data analysis, air quality modelling, site monitoring, and design specifications. You will liaise with colleagues, clients, and environmental regulators to collect and analyse data and produce high-quality reports, including air quality chapters for Environmental Statements.

Over time, you will gain greater responsibility and autonomy, supported by accredited professional development programmes from the Institute of Air Quality Management (IAQM), with a pathway towards Chartership (CEnv or CSci). Cundall fosters a collaborative and inclusive culture, encouraging professional excellence and knowledge sharing across its global offices.
