About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people across more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving the world’s most complex challenges together.

Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving real client work and projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build technical expertise through meaningful client engagements while developing business acumen and professional skills via centrally delivered graduate cohort training.

As a specialist and science graduate joining the Geo-Environmental discipline within our multi-award-winning Site Evaluation and Restoration team, you will undertake site-based ground investigations to assess ground conditions for geological, geotechnical, soil contamination, and groundwater quality purposes. This data informs design decisions or environmental restoration efforts to bring sites back into suitable use and protect the environment.

You will work as part of project teams conducting site work including soil and groundwater sampling, site supervision, desk-based research, and report writing. You will be responsible for your own deliverables, liaise with clients, and have opportunities to broaden your experience and technical expertise across a range of environmental and planning projects such as major infrastructure, urban regeneration, and community-focused initiatives.

While there are no formal rotations, graduates are encouraged and supported to proactively seek opportunities to develop their skills and experience. Travel and occasional overnight stays will be required, with virtual working embraced where possible.
