About the Role
Arcadis is the world's leading company delivering sustainable design, engineering, and consultancy solutions for natural and built assets. With over 34,000 people in more than 30 countries, we are dedicated to improving quality of life by solving the world’s most complex challenges together.
Our two-year Graduate GROW Programme supports your transition from student to professional, involving real client work and projects from day one. Each graduate’s journey is unique, shaped by their chosen specialism and the variety of projects they contribute to. You will build technical expertise by contributing to meaningful client engagements and project work, while developing business acumen and professional skills through centrally delivered graduate cohort training.
Graduates are encouraged and supported to proactively seek opportunities to broaden their experience and support their development. As a Project Controls Consultant within the GROW programme, you will work within diverse teams, cultivate a deep understanding of our sectors, build long-term relationships with clients and colleagues, and continuously improve ways of working.
You will be responsible for monitoring project progress, liaising with clients, resolving issues in a timely manner, identifying delivery risks, coordinating with contractors, and developing your skillset in a supportive environment.
Project Controls involves data gathering, management, and analysis to understand, predict, and influence project time and cost outcomes. Our Project Controls team defines and implements control systems during project definition and mobilisation phases, ensuring teams and clients work efficiently with clear direction.
This programme is ideal for graduates aspiring to become key players in delivering major construction and engineering projects, utilising communication, digital, and coordination skills to steer project teams to success.
Experience
You will be graduating in 2027 or have recently graduated in 2026, with at least a 2:2 in a relevant master's or bachelor's degree.
About you
You demonstrate resilience, creativity, analytical thinking, and teamwork skills. You have excellent communication skills and the ability to use your technical knowledge to influence and consult stakeholders. You are willing to travel and stay away from home when required, although virtual working is embraced where possible.
Qualifications
Accepted degrees include BSc or MSc in Project Controls, Construction or Engineering-related fields such as Construction Project Management, Civil Engineering, or Project Management. Candidates from non-relevant backgrounds such as Law, Management, or Business-related degrees will also be considered, with support towards chartership.
