We are currently recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to support a range of sites in and around Maidstone. This is a permanent, full-time position for someone who enjoys practical outdoor work and wants to be part of a dedicated team delivering high standards across public and private landscapes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Carry out grass cutting, hedge trimming, and border maintenance
• Perform leaf clearance, weed spraying, and litter picking
• Use hand tools and powered horticultural machinery
• Provide winter services such as gritting and snow clearance
• Report hazards and site issues to management as required
• Operate site vehicles and equipment safely and in line with procedures
• Use smartphones or apps to manage schedules and updates
• Participate in ongoing training for safe operation and upskilling

What We’re Looking For:

• Passion for working outdoors in all seasons
• Physically capable of manual labour and outdoor tasks
• Comfortable using smartphones or task-tracking technology
• Grounds maintenance experience is desirable but not essential
• Spraying licence (PA1 & PA6) is a plus
• Full UK driving licence required
• Punctual, safety-conscious, and dependable

Pay:
Up to £12.60 per hour

Hours:
Full-time – 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
