We are currently recruiting a Grounds Maintenance Operative to join a growing team based in Crawley, covering local sites throughout the area. This is a full-time, permanent role ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors and takes pride in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming green spaces.

Key Responsibilities:

• Grass cutting, hedge trimming, and border maintenance
• Clearing leaves, litter picking, and spraying as required
• Using hand tools and powered horticultural machinery
• Supporting with winter services such as gritting and snow clearance
• Reporting site hazards and issues to management
• Operating vehicles and machinery in line with health and safety procedures
• Using smartphones for task tracking and communication
• Undertaking additional training as needed

What We’re Looking For:

• Enthusiastic about working outdoors year-round
• Physically fit and comfortable with manual work
• Basic understanding of smartphone technology
• Previous experience in grounds maintenance (desirable but not essential)
• PA1 & PA6 spraying licence (desirable)
• Full UK driving licence (required)
• Reliable, punctual, and committed to health & safety standards

Pay:
£12.60 per hour

Hours:
Full-time – 40 hours per week (Monday to Friday)
