38.5 hours per week - 4 on, 4 off (Days & Nights) or 38.5 hours per week - 4 on, 4 off (Monday to Sunday Day shifts).

Salary
£42,435 per annum (Days & Nights shift) or £37,337 per annum (Day shifts).

About the Role
As a Class 1 HGV Driver at Thames Water, you will be an ambassador for the company on the road, upholding our values and delivering first-class customer service. You will join the Logistics Delivery team operating a fleet of Potable Water Tankers to support both reactive and planned work, ensuring essential water delivery to our customers. Your responsibilities will include taking water samples before loading and discharging water into hydrants or reservoirs. You will be expected to drive both HGV 1 and HGV 2 vehicles, including manual and automatic gearboxes, as well as various support vehicles such as Welfare vans. Full training will be provided along with an excellent benefits package. This role requires strict adherence to processes and procedures to maintain safety and compliance.

Experience
Proven experience as a Class 1 HGV Driver is essential.

About you
Happy to work on a rotational shift pattern including days and nights.
No more than 6 penalty points on your licence and no DR or IN convictions.
Demonstrates clear knowledge of Transport Law and the Road Traffic Act.
Working knowledge of Drivers' Hours rules and Working Time regulations.
Reliable, safety-conscious, and customer-focused.

Qualifications
A full driver CPC and a valid Driver Tachograph card are required.
