About the Role
Are you looking for a role where your work has a real impact every day? As a Systems Optimisation Analyst, you'll play a key role in helping us deliver a reliable water supply to more than 16 million customers. Working within our System Optimisation Team, you'll help manage and protect our clean water network, supporting operational performance, improving customer service and ensuring we continue to meet our regulatory commitments. Every day brings a new challenge, whether you're analysing network performance, supporting engineering projects or responding to operational incidents. This is an up to 12-month secondment/fixed-term contract with the possibility of becoming permanent.

In this role, you will support the System Optimisation Engineers in managing the operation of our clean water network while working closely with colleagues across Production, Leakage and Network teams to deliver the best possible service for our customers. You will monitor, investigate and help resolve pressure issues, customer complaints and operational escalations. You will analyse operational data and identify trends to support network performance and decision-making, support engineering and customer-led projects, assist with managing unplanned operational events to minimise disruption, and help complete operational risk assessments to support safe delivery of network activities. You will also build knowledge of water network operations, leakage management, commissioning and water quality while developing your technical expertise.

We offer 26 days holiday, increasing to 30 days with length of service (plus bank holidays), a performance-related pay plan linked to company targets, a generous pension scheme through AON, and access to a wide range of benefits to support your health, wellbeing and finances including annual health MOTs, physiotherapy, counselling, Cycle to Work schemes, shopping vouchers and life assurance.

Thames Water is the UK’s largest water and wastewater company, committed to building a better future for our customers, communities, people and the planet. Join us to make a meaningful difference every day in a rewarding and diverse workplace with flexible working arrangements and excellent career opportunities.

About you
Excellent communication skills and confidence working with a range of internal stakeholders. A proactive, collaborative approach and a willingness to learn.

Qualifications
