Hours
40 hours per week, Monday to Friday. Overtime available as and when required, including weekends and Bank Holidays.
Overtime Rates: Weekdays x 1.5, Saturday x 1.5, Sundays & Bank Holidays x 2.0

Salary
Up to £22.95 per hour, plus 50p per hour for a valid HGV Licence, plus Veolia benefits and pension.
Eligible for a sign-on and retention bonus of £3,000.

About the Role
As an HGV Technician at Veolia, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining and repairing a diverse fleet of over 100 types of vehicles, ensuring the continued delivery of our services across the UK. Your responsibilities will include repairing and maintaining Veolia fleet vehicles, third-party vehicles, and plant equipment in line with manufacturer and industry standards. You will run diagnostics using various equipment, perform hydraulic, electrical, and pneumatic diagnostics and repairs, and carry out HGV MOT inspections and preparations. Additional duties include completing roadside repairs when necessary, working safely within Health & Safety regulations, and accurately completing all required paperwork and timesheets. Experience
Previous experience as a Mechanical Fitter or Technician is preferred.

About You
You hold a valid HGV driving licence.

Relevant mechanical or technical qualifications are advantageous but not essential. A willingness to learn and develop your skills is highly valued.
