About the Role
As a Service Engineer, you will be driving innovative solutions to create a more sustainable future. Your focus will be on performing daily operational and maintenance routines for Energy Centre equipment, particularly District Energy Schemes with Low Temperature Hot Water (LTHW) Systems. You will attend residential properties connected to Energy Networks to carry out maintenance and repairs, delivering excellent customer service aligned with Veolia Values. The role involves maintaining new and existing equipment with minimal supervision, conducting reactive and planned maintenance including diagnostics and fault-finding, and ensuring all work complies with Veolia health and safety policies, including contractor supervision and risk assessment. You will complete service and breakdown reports accurately and promptly, respond appropriately to emergency situations, and perform additional duties as required.

Requirements

Experience
- Qualified in Electrical or Mechanical maintenance with skills in equipment maintenance and repair
- Experienced with HVAC systems including heat pumps, cooling towers, chillers
- F Gas and Legionella certified
- Comfortable with lifting, working at heights, and in confined spaces
- Full driving license

Desirable Experience
- Operation of Low Temperature Hot Water Systems and associated equipment
- Knowledge of heat interface units, cooling interface units, fan coil units
- Familiarity with planned maintenance schedules and repair works
- Experience working with the general public
- 18th Edition Electrical Regulations
- Gas Safe certification for commercial buildings
- Experience with controls, BMS, MBus, Modbus, data loggers, and Automated Meter Reading systems
