Our hydrogeologists work at the forefront of managing resilient and environmentally sustainable water supplies while protecting water habitats from new infrastructure development. We are involved in an increasing number of important projects including groundwater resource evaluation, development and management, and environmental impact investigations for water companies, major water users and regulators.

In this role, you will help deliver groundwater projects working closely with hydrogeologist technical leads and multidisciplinary teams. You will undertake complex problem solving including data gathering, processing, calculations, modelling, conceptualisation and report writing. Collaborative teamwork within the groundwater resources team and across other technical disciplines is vital to our success.

Experience
- Demonstrable experience as a hydrogeologist within consultancy, water company, regulator or academic fields
- Experience may include water resources hydrogeology and hydrology, signal and pumping tests, borehole design, groundwater flooding or water resource planning
- Understanding of UK hydrogeology and the regulatory framework of UK water management

About you
- A degree in science, engineering or mathematics and a post-graduate qualification in hydrogeology or a related subject
- Commitment to work towards chartership through a relevant professional body
- Excellent numerical, analytical, report-writing and presentation skills with strong attention to detail
- Enthusiastic and motivated to solve challenging water resources problems within a high-achieving team environment
