Net Zero Careers Accelerator (NZCA) connects Londoners with high-quality trade and construction roles that contribute to a more sustainable built environment. We partner with contractors delivering impactful projects across roofing, retrofit, and site improvement.

We are currently recruiting a Labourer to support a construction team on the EDGE site in London. This role is available only to residents of the London Borough of Southwark, under Section 106 local labour requirements.

What You Will Do:

• Support site operations with general labouring tasks including material movement and site cleaning

• Unload deliveries and distribute materials to appropriate locations

• Keep the site and welfare areas clean, safe, and well-organised

• Ensure waste is disposed of correctly and follow recycling procedures

• Wear PPE and comply with all site Health and Safety regulations

• Handle tools and equipment responsibly

• Report accidents, hazards, or unsafe conditions to site management

• Follow instructions from supervisors and site managers

• Represent the site professionally and treat colleagues and stakeholders with respect

• Be open to further training or upskilling as required

Who Can Apply:

• You must live in the London Borough of Southwark (Section 106 requirement)

• Hold a valid CSCS Green Labourer Card

• Be punctual, reliable, and physically fit

• Have good communication and time management skills

• Be confident working on active construction sites

• Previous site experience is helpful but not essential

• Positive attitude and willingness to learn

Pay:
London Living Wage or higher (depending on experience)

Location:
EDGE Project, London – Southwark residents only

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (site hours confirmed upon placement)
