We are currently recruiting a Labourer for a live site in London. This opportunity is restricted to residents of the London Borough of Southwark under Section 106 local employment requirements.
What You’ll Do:
Assist fitters and site teams by transporting materials to work areas
Support daily housekeeping to keep site areas clean, safe, and compliant
Follow all health and safety procedures and wear PPE at all times
Sign in and out of site daily (fire safety procedure)
Redirect all client/architect enquiries to your Project Manager
Receive and manage deliveries: check documentation, report damage, and unload safely
Use pallet trucks or team lifting for any loads over 25kg
Ensure protective coverings, signage, and barriers are in place where required
Stack and store materials safely, and minimise waste by reusing materials wherever possible
Assist with weekly stock takes and return all delivery notes to your Project Manager
What We’re Looking For:
Southwark resident (essential under Section 106 conditions)
Entry-level site experience or strong interest in construction
Green CSCS Labourer Card (required)
Punctual, reliable, and physically fit
Able to follow instructions and take site direction from a supervisor or PM
Good communication and willingness to learn
Safety-conscious and proactive on site
Pay:
£13.85 per hour (London Living Wage)
Working Hours:
Monday to Friday (standard full-time site hours)
