We are seeking a skilled Engagement Arboriculturalist to help manage our tree nursery and lead on community tree-planting projects. This is a new role offering the chance to combine arboriculture expertise with volunteer and community engagement.

Key responsibilities:

• Manage tree stock from seed collection through to planting or sale
• Lead on propagation, pruning, irrigation, and tree care
• Support and inspire volunteers, schools, and community groups
• Work with local authorities on planting plans and aftercare
• Organise planting days, workshops, and community events
• Maintain records, manage stock/tools, and contribute to social media updates

What we’re looking for:

• Qualified to at least Level 2 in Arboriculture (or equivalent in horticulture/forestry)

• Practical experience with trees (professional or volunteer)

• Strong communication and organisational skills

• Ability to engage and motivate volunteers and community groups

• IT and record-keeping skills; knowledge of tree management or GIS software desirable

• Driving licence desirable but not essential
