8 hours per day, typically starting at 7:30am depending on site. Includes a 1 hour lunch break. Finish times and days to be confirmed. 40 hours per week.

About the Role
Join RENELEC CHALGROVE LIMITED as a Plumbing and Heating Apprentice working on new build properties for major builders such as Berkley, Taylor Wimpey, Bellway and Pye Homes. This 4-year apprenticeship offers hands-on experience across plumbing, heating, and renewable energy systems within new build homes. You will learn general plumbing repairs and maintenance, central heating servicing and installation, boiler servicing and installation, as well as bathroom and kitchen installation. You will assist skilled plumbers, gaining practical skills in planning, selecting materials, installation, testing, fault finding, diagnostics, and maintenance. The role involves precision measuring, interpreting technical drawings, using hand and power tools safely, and maintaining a clean and organised work environment. You will also have opportunities to observe other trades to understand the sequence of work on building projects. Apprentices will spend time working with both the new build and maintenance/service teams, gaining a broad range of skills.
Training
This apprenticeship includes regular training with Abingdon and Witney College or another training organisation, with at least 20% of your working hours dedicated to training or studying. The training course is Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Level 3. Apprentices attend college one day per week alongside workplace training. Recruitment is focused on candidates living in Newbury, Basingstoke, Andover, Aylesbury, Witney, Maidenhead and Slough.
Qualifications
Essential GCSEs: English (grade 4 and above), Maths (grade 4 and above), Driving (grade Pass). Candidates are encouraged to inform the company of any other relevant qualifications or industry experience to tailor the apprenticeship accordingly.

Experience
