Hours
8 hours per day, typically starting at 7:30am depending on site. Includes a 1 hour lunch break. Finish times and working days to be confirmed. 40 hours per week.

About the Role
Join RENELEC CHALGROVE LIMITED as a Plumbing and Heating Apprentice working primarily on new build properties for major builders such as Berkley, Taylor Wimpey, Bellway and Pye Homes. This 4-year apprenticeship offers hands-on experience working alongside skilled plumbers across plumbing, heating, and renewable energy installations. You will gain practical skills in general plumbing repairs and maintenance, central heating servicing and installation, boiler servicing and installation, as well as bathroom and kitchen installations. Your duties will include planning, selecting materials, precision measuring, interpreting technical drawings, fault finding, diagnostics, and maintaining high standards of workmanship. You will also learn to work safely following health and safety policies, use hand and power tools, and maintain a clean and organized work environment. Opportunities to observe other trades on site will help you understand the sequence of building projects. Apprentices will spend at least 20% of their time in formal training at Abingdon and Witney College or other training organisations depending on location.

Training
This apprenticeship includes regular training with a college or training organisation. Apprentices will attend college one day per week while gaining workplace experience. The training course is Plumbing and Domestic Heating Technician Level 3.
