We are currently recruiting for a Building Services Engineering Apprentice (Plumbing pathway) to join a large-scale installation project in West London. This opportunity is aimed at those who want to pursue a plumbing career by gaining practical skills in installing heating and cooling systems in residential and commercial settings.

Please note: This apprenticeship is only open to residents of the London Borough of Hammersmith & Fulham.
Applicants who do not live in the borough cannot be considered due to local Section 106 requirements.

What You’ll Do

• Support the installation of large-scale heating and cooling systems
• Learn safe and efficient use of plumbing tools and materials
• Assist in setting out and assembling pipes, valves, and fittings
• Adhere to health and safety protocols and PPE requirements on-site
• Attend college sessions and complete all coursework toward your Level 2 Building Services Engineering Installer qualification
• Keep a training log and attend all scheduled assessments
• Communicate clearly with site staff and work collaboratively within a team
• Maintain professionalism and represent the project positively

What We’re Looking For

Essential:
• Resident of Hammersmith & Fulham
• Aged 16 to 20
• GCSE grade C/4 or above in Maths
• Good communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work to deadlines
• Manual dexterity and physical fitness
• Willingness to complete a 2–3 year apprenticeship

Desirable:
• CSCS card or completion of pre-apprenticeship training
• GCSE English grade C/4 or equivalent
• Prior part-time work, school or college work experience
• IT literacy and familiarity with Microsoft Office

Pay, Hours, Location, Start Date

• Pay: £64.17 per day + travel expenses
• Hours: 07:30 – 16:00, Monday to Friday
• Location: West London (exact location shared at offer stage)
• Start Date: 05 December 2025
• Closing Date: 14 December 2025
• Contract: Full-time, Apprenticeship (2–3 years)
